What is Oklahoma’s largest city?

Oklahoma City, the state's capital, is it's largest city.  There are almost a half a million people living there.  The Greater Oklahoma City metropolitan area has a population of over 1,100,000 people.

The state name literally means “red people.”  It comes from two Choctaw words - “okla” meaning people and “humma” meaning red.

More than 67 Indian tribes make their homes in Oklahoma.  Thirty-nine different American Indian tribes are headquartered in the state.

What are the border states to Oklahoma?
Oklahoma shares two borders with Texas, to the south and also the west. Arkansas and Missouri border Oklahoma to the east and Kansas to the north.  Colorado and New Mexico border the northwestern tip of the Oklahoma panhandle.
