A note from Emma Riley Sutton…

As much as I love all of Oklahoma, there are a few places that are near and dear to my heart - my favorites. Some of these places are childhood favorites and others are new discoveries to me. Many of my suggestions you won’t find in travel or tourism brochures. They are little known by the rest of the world - until now.

Throughout all of my travels in Oklahoma, I have learned there doesn’t have to a big billboard with flashing lights on the interstate to make a place a must-see. In fact, my suggestions are, in a lot of ways, even better than those well-advertised sights everyone knows about. Some of my suggestions will be well-known, in Oklahoma as well as around the country and the world.

All of my suggestions will be places I believe in my heart folks will find interesting, educational and a lot of fun. Even if they are off the beaten path, please take the time to learn about them - see if you will love them as much as I do.
