Born and raised in the Sooner state, Emma has found a way to combine
her love for Oklahoma and writing with this website. She enjoys
traveling to places in Oklahoma she has never seen as well as
revisiting her

One of the hardest things Emma ever did was to leave Oklahoma when she went to college. Once at Smith College, she earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees - one in English and the other in Public Relations. She quickly returned home to begin her career as writer.
Emma has been published in several nationally-known magazines such as Southern Living, Modern Bride and Better Homes and Gardens. She has also written copy for businesses and non-profits in several states. Politically active, Emma has even campaigned for presidential hopefuls, putting to use her Public Relations degree. Recently, she had been writing for several internet sites. Despite all this, Emma wanted to find a way to share Oklahoma with the world.
Emma has lived in
rural communities and the
Greater Oklahoma City metropolitan area. She offers a unique perspective of Oklahoma to visitors from all around the world.
